Shane Nebeck grew up in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He moved to the twin cities and got his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Minnesota. After graduation, Shane worked in a research lab studying Deep Brain Stimulation for the treatment of Parkinson's Disease and other movement disorders. Shane went to medical school at Des Moines University in Iowa.

Shane enjoys helping patients of all ages. He hopes to practice rural family medicine after completing his residency.

Shane enjoys outdoor activities like fishing, camping, gardening and mushroom hunting. He is a homebrewer and grows his own wine grapes. Shane also enjoys playing videogames with friends.
