Dick Nye, DO

Dick Nye earned his medical degree from Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lycnhburg, Virginia. He completed is residency in Family Medicine at SSM Health Monroe Clinic Medical Group in Monroe, Wisconsin.

Dick and his wife both grew up within an hour of Monroe and are excited to raise their three children back home. Before entering civilian medicine, Dr. Nye earned his BS at Pepperdine University before enlisting in the Army, where he became a Special Forces medic, serving multiple combat and non-combat deployments in the Middle East. His experience in the field gave him experience working with soldiers and civilians alike, and led to a love of primary care, where he found purpose caring for families. In his words, "Primary care is 'primary' for a reason; it is the first, and most crucial, point of access for medical care."

Dick enjoys seeing patients with a spectrum of ages and problems, treating whole families, and practicing holistic medicine. He is also interested in rural and underserved medicine.

Dick's wife grew up on a dairy farm in Cambridge, Wisconsin and has led to a love of hobby farming. Outside of that, three children under ten years old provides the opportunity to also have Pokémon, Bluey, and dinosaurs as hobbies. The Nye family is thrilled to be a part of Monroe!
