Perry Poulos, DO

Perry Poulos earned his medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (AZCOM) of Midwestern University. Perry grew up in the Northwest Chicago suburbs and moved to Ripon, Wisconsin for his undergraduate years. In college, he began volunteering at the local medical center, which is where he first connected so deeply with rural medicine. After college, he spent time as a clinical research assistant at the Medical College of Wisconsin's Cancer Center before completing a two-year masters program in biomedical science at Midwestern University.

Perry chose Family Medicine due to its breadth of practice and scope, as well as its interesting and diverse patients/pathology. In his family medicine rotations, he also really enjoyed continuity care in clinic where he was able to build meaningful relationships with his patients over time. He still holds an interest in rural medicine, so he cannot wait to grow in this journey at Monroe.

Outside of the medical field, Perry loves playing soccer and guitar, exercising and fitness, reading, going on walks with his family's dog, and spending time with his family and girlfriend.
