Carmen Urso earned her medical degree at Universidad de Carabobo, Valencia-Venezuela, and then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Maternidad Concepcion Palacios, Caracas-Venezuela. Carmen practiced medicine in Venezuela for five years experiencing work with many patients of different ages, backgrounds, and socioeconomic status.

Carmen moved to the USA to find better opportunities and grow professionally. She discovered her passion for family medicine while working as a medical assistant at a clinic in Chicago, IL. Building long-term relationships with her patients and maintaining the trusted doctor-patient bond by offering comprehensive care to patients who depend on her is the key to her success.

When she is not trying to save the world, she loves spending time with her husband and son, watching movies (especially Disney movies), trying new foods from around the world, and going to the beach.
