I had a very positive experience during my visit. Dr. Wheat and the nurse took the time to really listen to my concerns and made me feel heard throughout the appointment. I especially appreciated that they didn't just tell me what to do—they explained the reasoning behind their recommendations, which helped me better understand my care and feel confident in the treatment plan. Their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to answer my questions made a big difference. Thank you for providing such thoughtful and compassionate care.

She is so nice and thorough. I am so glad she is now my doctor. I also loved how she asked "do you have any other questions for me". I never felt rushed. She is awesome. She took normal bloodwork in the morning and by the end of the day, she, herself, sent me a detailed message on the patient portal...wow, very impressive.

Dr Wheat listened to my concerns, then asked additional questions before presenting me with options for my care. I do regret that I did not ask for her opinion. She was very neutral when presenting options, which I appreciated, but it would have benefited me more had I asked for her recommendations k owing that she had treated others in situations similar to mine.

Dr. Wheat is professional and courteous; she does keep a distance so to speak, which makes me feel a little uncomfortable opening up, but I understand.

I love that she treats me like she’s known me and my health issues forever. I had been Dr. Piontek’s patient for over 20 years even following him to the Lake. I had great concerns about finding a new PC doctor. Dr. Piontek told me I would like Dr. Wheat. He was right! I really think she’s the best!

I am so thankful I found her. I worked for my primary care physician for 20 years. Moved to Jefferson City and for the past seven years, have struggled with finding a good fit for myself. And that is until I found Dr. Wheat!

Our first visit was a very good experience. As seniors we needed a bit more care than younger patients, perhaps, & she did well!

The front office is way understaffed. Attempts to call in usually results in long periods of being on hold, or no answer at all. This is not the fault of Dr. Wheat. She responds quickly to messages sent vis Patient Portal.
