I like to keep things simple ... Dr. Jennifer Bissell and her staff are the absolute BEST!!!!!!!!!

She was judging me on my diet and my weight without me even having told her how many times a day I eat or what foods. And she is not the picture of health herself. Also very judgemental that I dont exercise often and that I am not making an effort at alll to be healthy. I explained my work and life schedule and stress after her lecture. I started a thyroid medication per her recommendation at this visit. But prior it took her over a month to look at my results and respond. And when she did she asked me if I wanted to start taking thyroid medication for hypothyroidism even though she didn't think it would work. ????? What?? And no other explanation of anything until my visit with her. She is just not very personable, she is awkward, she is not good at explaining things and she is judgemental. The only reason I still see her is because my previous doctor stopped practicing and the I got 2 other nurse practitioners thar were awful and then Jennifer. Hard to find good doctors anymore. And when you do, they dont stay.

She is a very caring and personable.

I just feel like she didn’t listen to me whole heartedly. I had been struggling for months with panick and anxiety and it took me that long for her to get back to me. I feel like she doesn’t fully listen and care and doesn’t explain things to make you feel confident. Her nurse is amazing and has helped me sooo very much. If there were other MD family doctors open, I wouldn’t definitely switch.

I don’t know what is going on with these appointments, but at the last few, I’ve been waiting for over an hour to see the doctor

I just don't think she listens to the patient as well as she should, and she doesn't follow-up with anything with our family at this time.

It was my first visit to her and she did not rush me in and out. Good listener and made an effort to recommend helpful health options.

teach her how to promote wisconsin dairy products. allow us elderly (80 plus) to use op[ods for pain or provide better. we are to old to become addictive and wish to live our remaining years with less pain.

It may be helpful for me to have a questionnaire ahead of time where I could write down concerns as I think of them at home and bring that to my appointment so I don’t forget to mention anything that may concern me. It was not a problem at this appointment, but I can see where it could be in the future. I think a questionnaire would help me be more aware of what I may want to discuss with the doctor.

She is very understanding and helpful with my son and his care.
