Dr. Jamil Neme is a board-certified sports medicine physician specializing in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and activity-related conditions in patients of all ages. In addition to preventive care and sports physicals for students, Dr. Neme focuses on non-surgical management of injuries to muscles, joints, and tendons. His expertise includes treating acute injuries, osteoarthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, sports-related concussions, and chronic conditions in athletes. He also advises patients on nutrition, supplements, performance optimization, safe strength training and conditioning, and sports psychology.

In his practice, Dr. Neme performs ultrasound-guided joint injections for the knees, shoulders, ankles, wrists, hands, feet, and sacroiliac (SI) joint. He offers advanced sports medicine treatments, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy and tendon debridement.

Dr. Neme is an associate professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He serves as director of the Division of Sports Medicine and program director for the Saint Louis University School of Medicine Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship. Additionally, Dr. Neme is the medical director for Saint Louis University, Missouri Baptist University Athletics, St. Louis Sabres Rugby team, and numerous area high schools.

He is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Outside of his professional work, Dr. Neme enjoys cooking, playing basketball, spending time with his family, and being outdoors.
