Dr. Erik Lindbloom is a board-certified family physician and geriatrician who provides primary care for patients ages 5 and older. Dr. Lindbloom sees patients throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area and is committed to helping individuals and families receive comprehensive, high-quality care close to home.

With a special interest in geriatric medicine, Dr. Lindbloom focuses on the care of older adults while also addressing a wide range of primary care needs. Dr. Lindbloom believes that everyone deserves access to comprehensive primary care, where most health concerns can be addressed within the family medicine office. Dr. Lindbloom also values working within a system that makes consultants and other care team members readily available when additional expertise is needed.

Dr. Lindbloom's research interests include the care of older adults and the use of evidence-based medicine to improve patient outcomes.

Dr. Lindbloom is a professor and Chair of the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He serves as a committee member of the National Journal Club of the American Board of Family Medicine and is a board member of both the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and the North American Primary Care Research Group.

Dr. Lindbloom also co-founded a free clinic in Mid-Missouri with a group of family physicians and medical students, reflecting a longstanding commitment to expanding access to care.
