Dr. Anjali Desai is an internist who specializes in cardiology for patients ages 18 and older. She specializes in the prevention and management of cardiovascular diseases and complex cardiac conditions including heart attacks, arrhythmias, and heart failure. She conducts consults; reviews medical histories; orders and interprets diagnostic tests; prescribes mediations; offers lifestyle counseling; and performs certain procedures such as stent placements.

Dr. Desai is passionate about providing quality, individualized care to her cardiology patients, educating them about their disease and how they can better manage or improve their condition and overall health.

Dr. Desai is with the Division of Cardiology in the Department of Internal Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She is also a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians.
