Shilp Arora, MD

Dr. Shilp Arora is a cardiovascular disease physician who specializes in interventional cardiology for patients ages 18 and older. He offers inpatient and outpatient consultations to diagnose and treat an array of conditions, including peripheral arterial disease; coronary artery disease; pulmonary embolism; deep venous thrombosis; varicose veins; renal artery stenosis; carotid artery stenosis; heart failure; valvular heart disease; and hypertension.

Dr. Arora's mission is to help his patients achieve the best outcomes by using cutting-edge technology and techniques, including endovascular intervention; percutaneous coronary intervention; and mechanical thrombectomy and catheter-directed thrombolysis for various conditions. A noted limb salvage specialist, he also employs specific techniques to prevent major amputations.

Dr. Arora is an assistant professor with the Division of Cardiovascular in the Department of Internal Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He has authored more than 120 scientific peer-reviewed journal articles, primarily on limb salvage and peripheral vascular disease.
