Walker Shavez, APRN-CNP

Walker Shavez is a nurse practitioner specializing in neuro critical care. He provides expert care for adults facing serious neurological conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, intracranial hemorrhage, and seizure disorders.

Walker is passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients during some of the most critical moments of their lives. His clinical interests include critical care management, early mobility in the ICU, and the treatment of seizure disorders. He works closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each patient receives safe, individualized care that supports recovery and long-term outcomes.

Walker serves in the Department of Neurology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He holds certification as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner (ACNPC-AG) and is a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN).
