Vinesh Kumar, MD

Dr. Vinesh Kumar is a family medicine resident in the SSM Health St. Anthony Family Medicine Residency program. He completed his medical education at Dow International Medical College in Karachi, where he discovered his passion for family medicine.

He grew up in Karachi, Pakistan, surrounded by a vibrant joint family system that taught him valuable lessons about compassion and family dynamics.

Dr. Kumar was drawn to family medicine because it reflects what he witnessed growing up-physicians who were the first point of contact for entire families, providing care to whoever walked through their door. He values building meaningful relationships with patients across generations and addressing a wide spectrum of health concerns.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Kumar is an enthusiast of fine perfumes, constantly researching and expanding his collection. He maintains an active lifestyle through sports like badminton, paddle, cricket, and karting. His fascination with automotive engineering has made him an avid car enthusiast and Formula 1 fan, where he appreciates both the technical innovations and strategic elements of racing.
