Dr. Hughes is a board-certified family physician and received his medical degree from Southern Illinois University. He completed his residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Following his residency, Dr. Hughes was an urgent care physician in the United States Air Force. In addition to his family practice position, he serves in the Missouri Air National Guard.

Dr. Hughes takes care of families of all ages. He has a special interest in both addiction recovery and travel medicine.

Dr. Hughes provides exceptional care. His bedside manner is top-notch!. I've been around Mid-Southwest and Southeast Missouri for both my personal care and in supporting the clients I serve professionally. Dr. Hughes is among only a handful of providers I've engaged w over a few decades that truly embodies the Hippocratic Oath. Salute Dr. Hughes!
