I had not been to see an OB-gyn for almost 3 years and I was feeling very nervous about the whole thing as even a checkup can be quite invasive. She put me at ease immediately by just making some light small talk and taking the time to connect with me as a person before doing an examination. So often nowadays patients feel like we are just one more body to get in and out the door but I did not feel that way with Dr. Jabri and it really meant so much. I struggle to prioritize my own health amidst my busy lifestyle as a business owner and mom of 4. Having a poor, dehumanizing experience at an office exacerbates that trend so it is hugely powerful for patients like me to have good experiences in doctors' offices.
