Dr. Waire Erhurhu is a family medicine resident in the SSM Health St. Anthony Family Medicine Residency program. She earned her medical degree from the Spartan Health Sciences University School of Medicine.

She chose family medicine because it allows her to make a broad impact by caring for diverse patient groups, including men, women, and children. It allows for a holistic approach to patient care -addressing physical, emotional, and psychological health. Family medicine also allows for continuity of care, building lasting relationships, and it also provides an ideal platform for health education and disease prevention which she is very passionate about.

Dr. Erhurhu likes being a part of SSM Health because it is faith-based, and she can express her faith freely while caring for patients.

Her outside interests include swimming, crocheting, traveling, and visiting new places.
