Born and raised in central Oklahoma City, Dr. Kennedy Sherman is a family medicine resident in the SSM Health St. Anthony Family Medicine Residency program.

For her undergraduate studies, she completed a Bachelor of Science degree at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma. She received a master's degree in healthcare administration from the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences before moving to Tahlequah, Oklahoma for medical school. Dr. Sherman graduated as part of the inaugural class of the first tribally affiliated medical school in the United States, OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine at the Cherokee Nation.

Dr. Sherman chose to be a family physician because she enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and likes being challenged in a multitude of different medical conditions. Her favorite thing about SSM Health is the osteopathic manipulative medicine clinic where patients can receive different osteopathic treatments.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, playing board games, and reading.
