Melody Santos, MD

Dr. Melody Santos is a pediatrician who is dedicated to caring for children and young adults from newborn through 21 years of age, and she sees patients throughout Southern Illinois. Dr. Santos provides comprehensive preventive care, including newborn care, routine health visits for children, adolescents, and young adults, monitoring growth and developmental milestones, immunizations and vaccine counseling, and school, camp, and sports physicals.

Dr. Santos has a special interest in preventive pediatric care and focuses on supporting healthy growth and development, promoting healthy lifestyles, and addressing the physical, emotional, and social well-being of her patients at every stage of development. Her approach is centered on helping children and families build a strong foundation for lifelong health.

Her personal mission in practicing medicine is to provide compassionate medical care that supports the overall health and well-being of children as they grow into young adulthood. She strives to create a supportive and welcoming environment where patients and families feel heard, respected, and cared for.

Dr. Santos is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and serves as a board member of Kellsie's Hope Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children whose cancer has relapsed. Through this work, she remains deeply committed to advocacy and outreach for children facing serious health challenges.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Santos has a passion for all things Disney. She enjoys participating in Disney races, which she runs in honor of children battling cancer, allowing her to combine her love of Disney with her dedication to supporting a cause that is especially meaningful to her.
