Lynn Robbins is a board-certified physician assistant working with Dr. Katherine Burns, a sports medicine and shoulder surgeon at SSM Health DePaul Hospital. She has worked for more than 15 years with Dr. Burns and has been an integral part of their award-winning shoulder surgery research. Lynn has worked in orthopedics for more than 20 years.

Lynn attended Lindenwood University as a college athlete and received a degree in athletic training. After college, Lynn worked as the head athletic trainer at an area high school before attending Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, Carbondale, Illinois for a degree in physician assistant studies. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and received special recognition for excellence in surgery.

Lynn is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery. She is an Orthopedic Content Expert for the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
