Keniesha Thompson, MD

Dr. Keniesha Thompson is a general internal medicine physician who provides comprehensive primary care focused on preventive services and long term health needs. She sees adults age 18 and older throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area.

In her practice, Dr. Thompson helps patients with health care maintenance, chronic disease management, and the treatment of acute and post acute medical conditions. She is committed to building strong relationships with her patients and supporting them through every stage of adulthood with clear communication and compassionate care.

Dr. Thompson enjoys practicing medicine in St. Louis because of the region's cultural diversity and the opportunity to care for medically underserved communities. Her approach to medicine is centered on understanding each patient's individual needs and working together to achieve better health outcomes.

Dr. Thompson serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine, and as Assistant Dean of Student Affairs at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Her research interests include physician patient communication and health outcomes research.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Thompson enjoys traveling and getting to know people, an interest that complements her passion for connecting with patients from all walks of life.
