Kathy Ray, MD

Kathryn Ray, MD, family medicine, provides compassionate care for adults and children. She enjoys building relationships with her patients to help improve upon and maintain their happy life. Dr. Ray connects with SSM Health's Mission, as she believes that God has blessed her with the talents to provide exceptional care as a medical doctor.

Dr. Ray received her bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond, Okla. She earned her medical degree at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and then completed a family medicine internship and residency. Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Ray has provided care in emergency, family medicine and obstetric settings, helping Oklahomans for more than two decades. She has experience teaching as a preceptor for nurse practitioner programs and at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center as a family medicine professor. Dr. Ray is fluent in English and Spanish.

When not caring for her patients, Dr. Ray enjoys playing tennis, snow skiing, scuba diving and traveling. She is very active at her church, helping with a variety of events and programs including mission trips, Bible studies, various events and assists with her church's audio-visual needs. Dr. Ray is also a black belt in karate.
