Joshua Glover, MD, chose a career in medicine because it perfectly combines his fascination with science with a passion for relationship building and making a tangible difference in people's lives. Dr. Glover understands that a cancer diagnosis can be incredibly overwhelming and frightening. He strives to be the physician who stands by his patients in those exact moments, while being able to offer exceptional care, clarity, steady support and genuine hope.

Born and raised in Oklahoma, Dr. Glover earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Oklahoma State University before completing medical school at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Dr. Glover finished an internal medicine residency as well as a hematology and oncology fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He has been published multiple times.

Dr. Glover connects with SSM Health's Mission of providing exceptional care through God's healing presence. He believes that practicing medicine is a way to participate in God's healing work here on Earth and that SSM Health supports this perspective.

Board certified in medical oncology, Dr. Glover is a member of several professional organizations including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy, the American College of Physicians, and the Oklahoma Society of Clinical Oncology.

When not caring for his patients, Dr. Glover enjoys spending time with his wife and their two boys.
