Dr. Jay Patel is a family medicine resident in the SSM Health St. Anthony Family Medicine Residency program. He is from McAlester, Okla. and attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.

Dr. Patel chose a career in family medicine because of its diverse and dynamic nature, and it allows him to care for patients from all walks of life and address a wide range of health concerns. He looks forward to the opportunity to build long-term relationships with his patients with a special focus on preventive care.

Dr. Patel's interests include watching domestic and international films and television, arts, and theater, and exploring cities and nature.
