Dr. Wiewel is board certified in family medicine. She completed her internship and residency at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill after earning her medical degree at Loyola University in Chicago. Dr. Wiewel has been awarded recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Diabetes Physician Recognition Program for meeting national standards for diabetes care. She began practicing with SSM Health Medical Group in O'Fallon in 2006. Dr. Wiewel values the relationships established as a family medicine physician. Dr. Wiewel uses telehealth services to conduct video office visits with current, established patients for: upper respiratory infection, sore throat, cough, seasonal allergies, skin rashes or lesions, mouth and cold sores, flu symptoms, conjunctivitis, UTI, gout, yeast infection and travel medication.
