Betty Mitchell, APRN-CNP Family Nurse Practitioner in O Fallon, MO

Betty Mitchell, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner providing compassionate care to patients of all ages. She received her Bachelor and Master of Science in nursing and her Doctor of Nursing from Maryville University.

Before joining the SSM Health Medical Group, Betty practiced as a nurse practitioner in a hospital setting with Sound Physicians at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Lake Saint Louis. In this role, she evaluated, planned, educated and implemented care to patients, building long-term relationships built on trust and respect and providing quality patient-centered healthcare.

Betty has special interests in acute and chronic illnesses, heart failure, hypertension and diabetes preventative care. She also enjoys mentoring new colleagues and students. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and St. Louis Nurses in Advanced Practice.
