Dr. Wissam Kiwan treats a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions and offers expertise in advanced endoscopy, including endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), diagnostic and therapeutic luminal endoscopy, and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS). He offers medical and endoscopic management of biliary and pancreatic diseases, gastric disorders, small bowel and large bowel diseases, and esophageal conditions. He also offers staging and sampling of GI tract cancers, such as esophageal, gastric, and colorectal cancers.

Dr. Kiwan's research interests include pancreaticobiliary diseases, medical education, endoscopy training, colon cancer prevention and treatment, endoscopic treatment of GI tract lesions, and bariatric endoscopy.

Dr. Kiwan is an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

He is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Gastrointestinal Association and American College of Gastroenterology.
