Unimke Ogar, MD

Jeffrey Ogar, MD, MPH, family medicine, provides compassionate primary care for children and adults.

Dr. Ogar earned his bachelor's in microbiology from the University of Oklahoma before completing a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Ogar worked for the Oklahoma State Department of Health as an epidemiologist for two years before completing medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine - Wichita. Dr. Ogar then finished a family medicine residency at John Peter Smith Health Network in Fort Worth, Texas. He has previous experience caring for patients in rural Oklahoma. Dr. Ogar previously served at Weatherford Regional Hospital, a managed hospital in the SSM Health St. Anthony Affiliate Health Network. He has been published for his studies on behavioral therapy for postpartum depression. Dr. Ogar is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Academy of Pro-Life Obstetrics and Gynecologists.

Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Dr. Ogar is interested in helping patients with obstetric care.

When not caring for his patients, Dr. Ogar enjoys spending time with his family and cheering for the OU Sooners. One of his favorite quotes that he lives by is "Life is never boring; people just get bored!"
