Dr. Shield has been my doctor for years even when I went to live in Arizona for eight years I would not let them do any type of surgery because Dr. Shield is the only one that did my cataract surgery and he took very very good care of me he’s very nice patient adequacy I would recommend him to others very highly if he was to ever leave I will follow thank you, Dr. Shield. I love you and may God bless you and your family and the staff that you work with.

Steven R. Shields and team have and are doing a swell job for him husband and our family. Thank you and may they continue to be blessed in all of their journeys within their scope of practice and in their everyday lives.

The girl who originally took care of me didn't seem to know what she was doing. She kept blaming the machines for not acting right, used her phone quite a bit (for instructions on how to work the machines?), and even scotch-taped my left eyelid to try to keep it open more. She kept telling me to "open your eyes", which I did as much as I possibly could, and even during the tests kept telling me to "blink". She did not seem to know how to send the resulting pictures to the ones that needed to see them. I don't know if they ever did see them... The next doctor didn't seem to spend much time with me, or even use the machines they usually do, other than to find out my eye pressures.

I don't know why we have having issues now he's always been on it hopefully I can get this problem solved today because it's been over a week and I still don't have the eye drops

Dr. Stephen shields has been with me for almost 20 years. It’s been a heartbreaking relationship in the sense that he’s watched me have eyesight, lose eyesight and then get a prosthetic in my right eye. He is absolutely knowledgeable about what’s happening with my eye and has always been very respectful, kind, and I feel very included in our medical relationship. I hope to be with him for another 40 years. I don’t know where I would be without Dr. Stephen shields the eye is a very personal part of the body and I wouldn’t trust anyone with it. I drive over 2 1/2 hours to see because of how valuable he is in my family’s life in terms of caring for my eye.

He has always been great at explaining my son's test results, even down to sharing the screen and walking me through what I am looking at.
