Sonia George, APRN-CNP, is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. After completing her undergraduate degree in nursing, Sonia went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing with special distinction from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

Sonia has clinical training and experience in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, liver and gallbladder. Prior to focusing in gastroenterology, Sonia worked as a cardiac registered nurse. Sonia has a special interest in health promotion and disease prevention.

In her spare time, Sonia enjoys playing guitar, coloring, cooking, spending time with her family and attending church.

Sonia is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and American Gastroenterology Association.
