Shawn Fitzgerald, DO

Shawn Fitzgerald, DO, family medicine, provides compassionate primary care for children and adults.

Dr. Fitzgerald received his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colo. He worked as an internal and tax auditor for more than thirteen years before returning to school and earning a medical degree at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa. Dr. Fitzgerald then completed an internship and residency in family and preventative medicine from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Fitzgerald has provided care to Oklahomans for more than a decade. He has experience teaching as a professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences in the Department of Family and Preventative Medicine. Dr. Fitzgerald is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association.

When not caring for his patients, Dr. Fitzgerald enjoys 'do it yourself' projects at home, music, gardening, and cars. He also enjoys learning about German culture, food, and language.
