Dr. Sean Edelstein provides comprehensive eye care and consultation for complicated corneal and cataract-related problems. He has particular expertise in corneal transplantation, cataract surgery, LASIK or other refractive surgery options, and collagen cross-linking and Intacs treatment for keratoconus and corneal ectasia. He also treats corneal infections.

Dr. Edelstein performs laser-assisted cataract surgery and uses the latest technology in advanced corneal transplantation.

His research interests include clinical outcomes of different types of corneal transplantation, including Boston KPro (artificial cornea) and lamellar (partial thickness) corneal transplant.

Dr. Edelstein is an assistant professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

He is a member of the Missouri Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons and the Eye Bank Association of America.

Dr. Edelstein is the father of three daughters.
