Sean Phillips, PA-C

Sean Phillips, PA-C, works alongside Dr. Cameron Shirazi and other SSM Health Bone & Joint │OSOI providers to expand both non-surgical and surgical solutions for orthopedic problems, focusing specifically on spine-related issues. Sean first became interested in medicine through his passion for fitness, health and his interest in the human body. Sean enjoys continuously learning to help expand his knowledge to be able to provide exceptional care for his patients.

Born and raised in Oklahoma, Sean served in the United States Marine Corps for four years, achieving the rank of sergeant before becoming an emergency medical technician in Oklahoma City. He then graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in health and exercise science before completing a Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Oklahoma City University. Prior to joining SSM Health, Sean worked as a physician assistant in trauma surgery and emergency medical settings.

As a board-certified physician assistant, Sean is passionate about helping patients recover from injuries, regain mobility, and build confidence in their physical abilities.

When not caring for his patients, Sean enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, hiking, strength training watching college football and cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners and Oklahoma City Thunder.
