Paul Kunnath, MD

Dr. Paul Kunnath is a primary care physician, offering management of chronic diseases in adult patients, as well as treatment for hospitalized patients at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital. His clinical interests include shared informed decision making and medical education. In his outpatient practice, he offers virtual visits via telemedicine.

His research interests include physician and patient understanding and interpretation of risk and reduction of low-value health care practices.

Dr. Kunnath is an associate professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

He is a member of the American College of Physicians and Society of General Internal Medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Kunnath is an amateur musician who sings in the Saint Louis Symphony Chorus.
