Board- certified in gastroenterology and hepatology, Dr. McDonough earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency at Washington University School of Medicine, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, and fellowships in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA.
