Blessing Olufowote, MD, is a family medicine physician in south Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who provides primary care for patients of all ages. She sees patients at SSM Health Medical Group on South Tulsa Drive, helping children and adults stay healthy through every stage of life.

From preventive care and annual wellness visits to managing chronic health conditions, Dr. Olufowote cares for a wide range of family medicine needs. She believes in providing compassionate care and is inspired by SSM Health's Mission of serving patients with exceptional care.

Dr. Olufowote earned bachelor's degrees in chemistry and business administration from Wichita State University before completing a Master of Science in biomedical sciences at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. After working in medical research, she earned her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital. During residency, she received training in caring for pregnant women, children, and adults with chronic illnesses.

Outside of work, Dr. Olufowote enjoys cooking, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. She and her husband are passionate about serving marginalized people in their community.
