Blessing Olufowote, MD

Dr. Blessing offers exceptional care for a wide range of family medicine needs for patients of all ages. She connects with SSM Health's Mission of providing exceptional and compassionate patient care.

Dr. Blessing graduated from Wichita State University with a bachelor's degree in chemistry and business administration before obtaining a Master of Science in biomedical sciences from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, Ga. She worked in the research field for a few years before earning her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita, Kan.

Dr. Blessing fell in love with family medicine during rotations in medical school and decided to pursue her residency in family medicine. Dr. Blessing completed residency at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital, where she received training in caring for pregnant women and children, as well as adults with chronic illnesses.

In her spare time, Dr. Blessing enjoys cooking, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Blessing and her husband, James, have a passion for serving marginalized people in their community.
