He is also the Program Director for the Rheumatology Fellowship, where he helps train future rheumatologists, and the Course Director for the rheumatology elective for fourth-year medical students.

Dr. Zaheer is recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology.

Dr. Zaheer was awesome. He actually listened to me and never made me feel rushed. He was not sent all of my medical records but with the info he had, allowing me to explain my complications, he put together a plan that should shed light on some of not all the issues I’ve been having. His manners and tone made me feel very comfortable. He made me feel like he genuinely care about his patients and willing to do any and everything to find a solution to your problems. I wish I’d been referred to him many years ago. Thank you for your kindness Dr. Zaheer.
