Muhammad Zaheer, MD

Dr. Muhammad Zaheer is a rheumatologist who provides care for patients with complex autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. He sees patients throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area and is dedicated to helping individuals manage chronic rheumatologic diseases with a thoughtful, personalized approach.

Dr. Zaheer's clinical interests include vasculitis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and inflammatory muscle diseases. He focuses on delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care and takes time to help patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options. By partnering closely with patients, Dr. Zaheer works to improve daily function, reduce symptoms, and enhance overall quality of life.

Dr. Zaheer is an associate professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He is also the Program Director for the Rheumatology Fellowship, where he helps train future rheumatologists, and the Course Director for the rheumatology elective for fourth-year medical students.

Dr. Zaheer is recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology.
