Meagan Mahtushqah, DNP, was called to a career in medicine to help serve, heal and provide compassionate care to those in need. Meagan is a nurse practitioner for urgent care patients in Purcell. She enjoys building relationships with her patients to help improve upon and maintain their happy life. Meagan also connects with SSM Health's Mission of providing exceptional care through God's healing presence.

Born and raised in Oklahoma, Meagan graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She served as a registered nurse in a variety of areas for nine years, focusing on emergency nursing and urgent care. Meagan returned to school at Oklahoma City University and completed a Doctor of Nursing Practice. She has previous experience caring for patients in rural Oklahoma. Meagan has been published for her studies on food insecurity in Native American communities.

Meagan is a proud member of the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma. When not caring for her patients, Meagan enjoys volunteering with the Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma.
