Lindsay Gwaltney, FNP-BC, is an adult nurse practitioner who specializes in diabetes treatment and management for patients 18 and older. She provides lifestyle and nutrition planning, education, and goal setting to help patients achieve optimal health with glucose control. She also offers the latest technology in diabetes management with continuous glucose monitors and insulin pumps.

Gwaltney understands the burden diabetes places on patients. She is passionate about advocating for her diabetic patients, ensuring they receive the best, most up-to-date, evidence-based medical care.

Gwaltney is a member of the American Nurses Association; American Diabetes Association; Association of Diabetes and Education Care Specialists; and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She works in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

Fun fact: Gwaltney served in the U.S. Army as an 88M (transportation) and combat life saver.
