Ekta Shrestha, MD

Dr. Ekta Shrestha is a board certified endocrinologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of hormone related conditions. Dr. Shrestha cares for patients ages 18 and older and sees patients throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area.

In her clinical practice, Dr. Shrestha treats a wide range of endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, menopause related concerns, adrenal conditions, and osteoporosis. She incorporates advanced diabetes technologies such as insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring systems to support personalized and effective care.

Dr. Shrestha has a strong clinical focus on diabetes, thyroid disease, menopause, adrenal disorders, and osteoporosis. She is committed to providing clear, compassionate care and works closely with patients to help them understand their condition and feel confident in managing their health.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Shrestha serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Her current and future research interests include diabetes, thyroid disease, menopause, adrenal disorders, and osteoporosis.
