Kathryn "Katie" Slane, MSN, AGPCNP-BC, AOCNP, is a board-certified oncology nurse practitioner who specializes in palliative medicine for adults, 18 years and older, with serious or life-threatening illnesses. With over nine years of experience in oncology, Katie brings deep clinical expertise and a compassionate approach to supporting patients and their families.

She provides both in-home and virtual palliative medicine visits, making it easier for patients to receive personalized care in the comfort of their own space. Her practice focuses on improving quality of life through symptom management, guidance on navigating complex illnesses, and facilitating meaningful conversations about goals of care and advanced care planning.

Katie is passionate about helping patients live as well as possible, regardless of their diagnosis. She believes in a team-based approach that supports both patients and caregivers throughout their healthcare journey.

Katie is a member of the Board of Trustees for Advanced Practice Society for Hematology and Oncology, and member of the Oncology Nursing Society.
