Karen Gates, DNP, FNP-C, specializes in care for adults across a variety of urological conditions, including but not limited to incontinence, erectile dysfunction, complex stone disease, urologic oncology, benign prostatic hyperplasia and more.

Born and raised in Oklahoma, Karen received a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Oklahoma. She served as a registered nurse for eight years, focusing on long term acute care for Oklahomans. Karen returned to school at Oklahoma City University and earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice. Board certified as a family nurse practitioner, she provided care in urgent care settings for three years prior to joining SSM Health. Karen has worked alongside Dr. Jeremy Davis for several years and is excited to join him at SSM Health Medical Group.
