Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, Joy Manning Plain, D.O. is a primary care physician who also focuses on weight loss counseling. She was drawn to SSM Health as a faith-based institution, and she sees her role as helping people attain their best health, caring for patients and families throughout their lives and assuring that patients are treated with dignity and respect. She was named Oklahoma Osteopathic Associate Rookie Physician of the Year (2010). When not caring for patients, she spends her time at church or in the great outdoors with her husband, a firefighter, and their five children.
