In addition to inflammatory bowel disease and screening colonoscopy, Dr. Rodemann's areas of interest include irritable bowel syndrome and biliary disease. His particular skills include esophagogastroduodenoscopy, with treatment of variceal and non-variceal bleeding; colonoscopy, with polypectomy and treatment of bleeding; video pill endoscopy; ERCP; PEG placement; and nasal endoscopy with placement of post-pyloric feeding tubes. He is on staff at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Lake Saint Louis.
"I am drawn to gastroenterology because of the opportunity to treat a variety of diseases involving the GI tract, liver and pancreas. I am particularly interested in inflammatory bowel disease and the impact that screening colonoscopy has on preventing colon cancer.
