He completed an internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. Following residency, Dr. Jachna completed a fellowship in sports medicine from the Minneapolis Sports Medicine Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
