Jian Chen, MD, PhD

Dr. Chen earned his medical degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and completed his Ph.D. at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in anesthesiology pain medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in pain medicine, the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and the American Board of Medical Acupuncture.

"My philosophy in pain medicine emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based and comprehensive care, integrating medical, interventional and rehabilitative strategies to achieve optimal outcomes and restore patients' function, comfort and quality of life," Dr. Chen said.

Dr. Chen provides a variety of outpatient interventional treatments for chronic back pain symptoms and has extensive experience in neurodiagnostic studies and hospital consultation.
