Schallert earned her bachelor's of science degree in nursing from Saint Louis University in 2007 and then worked concurrently in a St. Louis area hospital emergency department and at University Hospital in Columbia while working on her FNP (family nurse practitioner) degree at Saint Louis University. She completed that training in December 2010 and earned board certification in March 2011.
Schallert's accreditations include: basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE), trauma nursing core course (TNCC), and pediatric advanced life support (PALS), as well as competencies in electronic charting. Jennifer Schaller is definitely a great asset to the SSM team . Her knowledge, empathy and patience and most importantly smiling face goes without saying . She provides utmost care by making you feel comfortable and included that you know half your problem is solved already . Her thorough listening to the patient and analyzing from different aspects and providing treatment sure make you feel comfortable and confident and connected. I truly like her and her approach so much .
