Jaya Barina, MD, is board certified in pediatrics and has been in private practice since 2012. She accepts new patients 12 years and under and she will see established patients until they are 18 years and/or still in high school.

Dr. Barina was born and raised in St. Louis, and is proud to call St. Louis home for her and her family. She obtained her medical degree from Saint Louis University, where she also completed her undergraduate studies. Dr. Barina completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of North Carolina.

She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has specializes in general pediatric care with a specific focus on preventative care for her patients.

I chose pediatrics because I love working with children and their families. It is a privilege to be a child's pediatrician and be allowed to help him or her grow and develop. I especially enjoy well-child care and believe prevention is an important part of pediatrics. - Jaya Barina, MD
