In addition, Dr. Asghari treats diseases of the ocular surface caused by conditions such as GVHD and Steven Johnson's syndrome. He also treats ocular injuries caused by chemical burns or trauma, lacerations, abrasions or foreign bodies, corneal ulcers and infections, corneal scarring, pterygium and conjunctival cysts.
His research interest is developing less invasive approaches to treating corneal disorders or cataracts.
