Giao Vuong, MD is a board certified gastroenterology physician. He graduated from Saint George's University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

After completing his residency, Dr. Vuong became a fellow at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine in the division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

Dr. Vuong has a special interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Liver Disease, Motility Disorders and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and a trainee at the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastenterological Association.

"Gastrointestinal disorders involve quite a large array of organs, causing many disorders and symptoms that can affect daily functioning and patient outcomes. The opportunity to care for patients with complex or end-stage organ diseases under the tutelage of world-renowned mentors has provided me the understanding that patients may be afraid or embarrassed to discuss such symptoms, and that treatment must be tailored to each patient individually. My goals are to treat my patients like family: remain open, honest, and amiable, while working together to deliver the most current therapies to improve their outcomes and quality of life."
